Siemens SINUMERIK Operate: Ethernet DNC Settings

Switch to SINUMERIK Operate

Select Commissioning

Select HMI

Select Log. Drive

Select a free softkey slot for the Program Manager (e.g., Drive 5)

Press the "Change" softkey on the right

In the settings field, configure as follows:
Type: FTP
Computer name: (IP address of the DNC/Edge computer)
User name: (DNC username, case sensitive)
Password: (to be discussed with the customer for a level of security)

Confirm the settings are applied to the softkey
